Dr. Bill Ziegler has served in education for over twenty years as a teacher, assistant principal, and principal. He is honored to be a NASSP 2015 National Digital Principal Award Winner, the 2016 Pennsylvania Principal of the Year, and the President of the PA Principals Association. Dr. Ziegler currently serves as a high school principal in a suburb of Philadelphia where he resides with his wife and two teenage children. Leadership: Dr. Ziegler serves as the President of PA Principal Association.

He also was elected as President of PA Principals in 2014, Treasurer of PAESSP, and has served in a number of other leadership positions at the state, national, and international level. Dr. Ziegler was honored to be selected as a NASSP Digital Principal Award Winner in 2015 and he has provided professional development to school leaders throughou the country while speaking at national conferences for ASCD, ISTE, and NASSP. Most recently, Dr. Ziegler was selected to the serve on the USA Team for the Great Leaders Summit in China. In this role, he provided professional development to over 4,000 Chinese principals on Digital Leadership. He has also spoken on Capitol Hill to lobby for better ERate coverage for schools throughout the nation and continues to speak across the country on the importance of integrating technology into learning. Educational Background He was recently recognized as one of the “Fabulous Fifty” Alumni of Montgomery County Community College where he earned his Associates Degree in General Studies.

Bill continued on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree from Kutztown University, a Master’s Degree from Gratz College, a Principal Certification from Pennyslvania State University, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership where earned his Superintendent Letter of Eligibility. As a life long learner, Bill still serves as an adjunct professor in Temple University’s Masters of Education program.
