Mary McMahon started her teaching career in Alaska in 1995. In 2000 she was appointed as an interim superintendent and served as a federal programs director in Chevak, Alaska. In 2005 she relocated with her family to Palmer, Alaska where she has served as a school principal for the past eleven years. She is currently the President of AASSP and Principal of Colony Middle School. Mary McMahon is committed to serving as a principal who inspires excellence in school leadership. She believes strongly in the great work we do and knows that it takes a principal, who is passionate, hard-working, humble and kind, to serve our schools best.

I am a Principal at Carrie Downie Elementary School. I have been an administrator for 11 years after teaching 5th grade. I have a passion for students and trying to figure out how they learn and are motivated. 29 years ago, Mark Modesti was a driver at UPS. Today, he uses 29 years of expertise from working within UPS’s walls to improve supply chains within other companies. In September of 2015, Mark presented a TED Talk in which he described his current role as a UPS Customer Solutions Consultant as being that of a professional troublemaker.

Mark has held a variety of positions in UPS in Operations, HR, Safety & Compliance, and Industrial Engineering. He was part of the team that trained drivers to use the first electronic clipboard device, or DIAD, and had extensive involvement in early expansion of UPS On Demand Air service. His most recent assignment prior to Customer Solutions was as an Enterprise Account Manager in Business Development.

He and his wife and family live in McKinney Tx.
